Artist Carolyn Miller Releases Brand New Single “All In”

Carolyn Miller – All In ( Official Acoustic Video )

New York, NY – CMT Next Up Now Artist CAROLYN MILLER has released her new single, “All In,” out today. This song is the follow up to her last single “Ain’t About That,” which is currently in rotation on Music Choice Pop and Country channel. “All In” is available everywhere now HERE.

All In” was written by Jamie Moore (“May We All”/FGL, “Chasin’ You”/Morgan Wallen), Emily Landis (“The Good Ones”/Gabby Barrett), and Abby Anderson (Black River Recording Artist), with production by Frank Legeay and Michael Mechling. “All In” is a flirty, mid tempo song infused with pop elements, pushing the boundaries of country music and creating a style that is uniquely Miller’s own. “This was a really fun track to craft and we spent a lot of time playing with different ideas,” she exclusively told Celeb Secrets. “My producers and I eventually found a way to stay true to who I am as an artist while moving outside our comfort zones.”

Despite the circumstances of this unprecedented time, Miller is still “set to make 2020 an impressive year” (NYCountry Swag). Her most recent release “Ain’t About That” reached 130,000+ streams and was added into rotation on Music Choice Pop & Country Channel. The song was also named Country Line “Single of the Week” on Chris Country Radio (UK), voted fan favorite on 104.7 WAYZ and was featured on several media outlets including Digital Journal, Celeb Secrets, Music Mayhem Magazine, NYCountry Swag, among others. Most recently, Miller sang the national anthem for the NY Mets and hosted (as well as performed on) both of Music Mayhem‘s virtual country festivals alongside Billy Ray Cyrus, Walker Hayes, Tenille Townes, and more. Additionally, Miller’s live acoustic cover of “When You Say Nothing At All” was featured on Country Rebel, amassing over 400,000 views and counting since its release on September 22nd. Driven by her passion for performing, Carolyn Miller has turned to livestreaming during her time quarantined, delivering over 75 livestream concerts for various radio stations, media outlets, music venues, and even (virtually) hosting and performing in various high profile events and online festivals. Miller’s vivacious and “enthusiastic personality” (Sounds Like Nashville) has drawn in followers of all ages — from all over the world — and there’s no sign of her slowing down. “Covid can’t stop the music. It can’t stop our passion. It is our duty as artists to spread joy and love, especially in the darkest times. Music is needed now more than ever.”

Stay tuned for more new music coming January 2021.

“Carolyn Miller deserves to become the next big female star in the genre. She has everything it takes to make it in the music business: class and talent. There is an authenticity and an honesty to her music. She puts the majority of the “country” artists that are played on the modern country airwaves to shame. Miller’s vocals are mellifluous and heavenly. Her live set garnered 5 out of 5 stars.” – Digital Journal

UK Singer Jake Aldridge finds love on Tinder

Award winning rapper-turned-singer, Jake Aldridge, unveiled more than just an engagement ring when he proposed to his now fiancée, two years after meeting her through an online dating app.

Aldridge began exchanging messages with former Slimming World consultant, Lisa Hartgrove, in January 2018 via the online dating app, Tinder. The pair, who even share the same birthday, now have their very own song as well!

After a successful proposal earlier this year, Jake played Lisa his new track, ‘King of The World’, a heartfelt country-pop song he had written for her.

The music for ‘King of The World’ was co-produced by Argentinian music producer, Dam Dominici, and Suffolk-based, multi-instrumentalist, David Booth. The song is set for public release on Friday 6th November.

Just 15 minutes from Ed Sheeran’s hometown, Aldridge was brought up in Reydon (Suffolk) with his two siblings. He was born to a Bangladeshi father and Canadian mother. Jake was just eleven years old when his father was killed after being struck by lightning during a family fishing trip.

Struggling to deal with his bereavement, Aldridge began writing poetry. Having grown up listening to cassette tapes of rappers from the late 90’s, he became inspired by hip-hop music and eventually turned his poems into raps.

Aldridge became intrigued by country-pop music when he heard Florida Georgia Line’s 2012 collaboration with Nelly (a remix of the former’s song ‘Cruise’). Subtly, Aldridge began incorporating elements of the country-pop genre into his own music. His song ‘Gullible’, for example, is a hybrid of the two genres featuring country vocals by British Country Music Association award winner, Kezia Gill.

Aldridge won the prestigious ‘Male Act of the Year’ at the 2018 International Achievers’ Awards. This built on the success of the previous year when he beat more than 100 fellow artists to win the ‘Audience Choice Award’ at the 2017 New Music Generator (NMG) Awards. The 32-year old’s music later aired on a U.S television documentary entitled ‘Beating the Odds’. Featuring Michelle Obama, the series follows American students on a cross-country road trip in a bid to help under-privileged young people to find careers and life fulfilment.

Exclusive Spotlight Interview With Rising Hip-Hop Star BigJohn

Hip Hop Artist BigJohn ( 863BigJohn )

BigJohn an American Hip-Hop Artist who was born in Columbus, Ohio. I moved to Florida when I was approximately 14.

Where are you from?

I am from the west side of Columbus, Ohio. Born at Mount Carmel Hospital on April 17 th , 1984.

When did you start making music?

I started this long journey in the Music Industry back in 2010 when I released my very first song called “Livin Dat Life”, Inspired by Big Gates Records artist Plies.

How do you describe your music?

I would describe my music as “Real True To Life” music. I do not focus on one topic when I am writing songs, my goal has always to been reach people all around the world with lyrics that people can relate to in their past and current situations.

Favorite moment from your career?

My favorite moment in the music industry would have to be when I shot the music video for the song called “We Goin Live”. I had so much support from the people in Polk County and directly from the city I lived in Waverly, Florida.

Who is your biggest musical inspiration?

My biggest musical inspiration now and always is Big Gates Records artist Plies. When he first came out, I would listen to his music constantly every day. I really love his delivery, lyrical realness and his presentation. He is the reason I wanted to start writing music back in 2010.

What is your producing software?

Over the years I have mainly used Mixcraft but I have always had the pleasure of working with Pro Tools on the mac operating system. My go to is still Mixcraft as it has a user friendly UI and it can produce some really good sounding vocals.

What other things do you do besides making music?

When I am not making music, I am working, playing video games on the Xbox, spending time with family and living the best life.

What is your favorite track of all time?

I am assuming this question is referring to BigJohn music so I will have to say my favorite track that I have written would be “Can’t Fill Your Shoes”. The song has such deep meaning for me as I wrote it as a tribute to my father who passed away.

BigJohn – Can’t Nobody ( Official Music Video )

What is your best-producing tip?

If you are gonna record in a professional studio, then if at all possible, try to record your self at home before jumping in the booth. People wanna hear the emotion in your voice and tone changes through- out the song you are producing.

Why did you start making music?

I really loved how Big Gates Records artist Plies was able to reach me mentally and emotionally with songs such as “One Day”, “Rich Folk” and “On my D*ck”. I wanted to portray my thoughts and feelings to the world so I too could make a difference in somebody’s life. For a lot of people around the world, music can help if you are feeling depressed, going through hard times or just need to zone out from the rest of the world.

What are your goals for the future?

In the future, I would like to do more shows and release more music that people can relate to. Every day that passes I want to be better and more knowledgeable than the previous day. I never want to stand still but with every move that I make I want it to be progress.

What advice could you give to young artists/producers/dj’s?

Make the world feel the tunes deep down in their soul. One of the many great qualities that make us human is we have feelings and through music we can speak directly to the hearts and minds of people.

Please write a message to your fans.

I can not thank my fans enough for the continued support over the years. I would not be where I am at now in the music industry if it was not for my people standing by me and supporting me in the complex and competitive industry. I am very blessed to have all of my fans and I can not thank them enough.

[Florida] Polk County Sheriff punches man twice while in handcuffs.

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — A video posted to Facebook, that appears to show a Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputy hitting a man in handcuffs, has made its way to Sheriff Grady Judd.

According to Judd, a complete and thorough investigation will be completed, but there is more to the story than what the video show.

The eight-minute video, which captures a fight that broke out on Chesnut Rd. in Lakeland on May 6, is below.

In the video, two men can be seen hitting each other, while a woman and another man in a neon shirt stand nearby.

Eventually, the fight stops, and the man in the neon shirt walks off with one of the men allegedly involved in the fight. At the same time, the video shows another fight breaking out across the street.

That’s when multiple sheriff’s office patrol cars arrived.

According to Judd, deputies arrived in “emergency mode” and began working the scene in order to sort out: What is going on? Who is fighting? Is anyone hurt? And is there guns or knives?

While doing so deputies attempted to talk to, the man in the neon shirt, now known as 20-year-old Fernando Jimenez, who they say, witnessed the first fight and was in the area of the second fight. But, he attempted to leave, according to the sheriff’s office.

That’s when deputies attempted to arrest Jimenez who, Sheriff Judd said then resisted and spit on a female deputy.

“I don’t need to tell you at this time of COVID when everybody’s supposed to be socially distancing,” Judd started before explaining how the group was not socially distancing. “But, when I look at that , and then one of my deputies gets spit directly in the face by a guy, never mind HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis C, but now we have COVID.”

As for where the video appears to show one of the deputies strike Jimenez twice while he is held against the trunk area– Judd confirms this, saying the deputy hit him while attempting to get Jimenez under control.

Then deputies worked to place Jimenez in the back of a patrol car where his legs were tethered together to keep him from kicking out any windows, according to the sheriff’s office.

He also had a spit guard placed on his face because “this guy [was] trying to spit on everybody,” according to Sheriff Judd.

Now, the incident is under a complete and “thorough” investigation.

“I can tell you one thing we are going to do a complete and thorough investigation. I have built a reputation of doing what’s right. If there’s a violation of the rules then they will be held accountable for that,” Judd said. “But, I can tell you clearly and unequivocally in this day and age of COVID, HIV, Hepatitis, how would you respond if somebody spit in your face today? In the middle of this pandemic? When the state of Florida is under a state of emergency. You would stop it, you would stop it.”

Both deputies are set to be tested for COVID-19.

The sheriff’s office said the video is also under review as it was just obtained on Thursday.

But, Judd is grateful for the video for another reason, sharing that it allows them to get a clearer picture of the fights and charge people who may not yet have been charged.

Jimenez is facing charges for resisting without violence, resisting with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer. He has since bonded out of jail.
